FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Interfaith clergy and community members will unite in Forest Hills this weekend for a rally against anti-Semitism.
The Queens Unity Rally Against Anti-Semitism will take place Sunday in MacDonald Park from noon to 2 p.m.
Elected officials who attend the rally will not be speaking, as a way to "prevent partisanship and promote unity," according to the rally's organizers, local community leaders David Aronov, Ethan Felder, Jeff Kohn, Irina Kimyagar and Pesach Osina.

"From Jersey City to Brooklyn to Monsey, the increase in anti-Semitic attacks are horrific and remind us of darker times in history," the organizers said in a press release announcing the rally. "The people of Queens will stand in solidarity with the greater Jewish community of New York to denounce hate and demand action."

The Queens rally comes one week after a citywide march against anti-Semitism — organized after five people were stabbed during a Hanukkah celebration at a Rabbi's home in Monsey — drew an estimated 10,000 attendees to Manhattan's Foley Square.
