FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Forest Hills neighbors tuning into "Jeopardy!" tonight might see a familiar face on the screen.

Tom Philipose, a writing professor and Forest Hills resident, is competing on the June 2 episode of the show, which airs at 7 p.m. on ABC (those without cable, or a TV, can watch on the channel's livestream).

Philipose will go up against two other contestants, including Ryan Long, a ride-sharing driver whose racked up $260,100 after winning 14 consecutive games — the latest winning streak in a season defined by so-called "super champions."

This isn't the Forest Hills-based professor's first appearance as a quiz competitor, though.

In 2008 he reportedly appeared on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," another quiz competition, and walked away with $50,000, according to a website dedicated to the show.

Currently in its 38th season, "Jeopardy!" will be hosted by Mayim Bialik (with appearances by Ken Jennings) through the end of July 2022.
