Forest Hills Stadium Celebrates 100 Years Of Music With The Strokes

The Strokes will perform on Saturday, Aug. 19, and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday. ​

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — The beloved venue that's hosted musical icons like The Beatles, Dolly Parton, and The Rolling Stones is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year with a lineup that has something for every type of music lover.

The Strokes are set to perform this summer, along with indie rock singer Angel Olson, at Forest Hills Stadium as the arena celebrates 100 years since it was built.

The Strokes will perform on Saturday, Aug. 19, and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Boygenius, Duran Duran, Dave Matthews Band, LCD Soundsystem, Fall Out Boy, Zach Bryan, Kevin Hart, Maggie Rogers, and others have also been announced for the 2023 lineup.

Forest Hills Stadium, which opened in 1923, underwent massive renovations and reopened for performances in 2013. The renovations included upgraded seating options for people with disabilities.
