Forest Hills Stadium Gig Promoter Featured In Film At Tribeca Festival
"Ron Delsener Presents" will make its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday, June 11.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — The legendary promoter who brought The Beatles to Forest Hills Stadium and other big names to New York City will have a documentary about his life and work featured at a popular film festival this year.
“Ron Delsener Presents” will make its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday, June 11 at 8:00pm at the Indeed Theater at Spring Studios.
Ron Delsener was the man behind booking major contemporary music concerts in New York City, including David Bowie to Carnegie Hall and Patti Smith to the Palladium.

The documentary will take viewers behind the curtain through the last half century of the live music business. The film features the tactics that drove live performances from disorganized, low-fi nightclubs to international tours and arenas.
The film will feature artists including Billy Joel, Cher, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Van Zandt, and others to talk about Delsener's work.

An additional screening of the documentary will be on June 12 at 9:00 p.m. at AMC 19th Street and on June 18 at 2:45 p.m. at Village East by Angelika. Tickets are available at Tribecafilm.com
