The Lumineers To Perform In Forest Hills This Summer
The indie folk group has committed to reducing its environmental footprint on its six-month-long tour, which includes two shows in Queens.
FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — The Lumineers are playing two New York City shows during their upcoming world tour, both of which are in Forest Hills, the group announced Thursday.
Its been several years since the indie folk duo — comprised of founding members Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites — were on tour, and, according to the group, the back-to-back concerts on June 17 and 18 were added by popular demand.
Brightside World Tour, named after the group's 2021 studio album (their fourth to date), kicks off Friday in London, and ends sixth months later at the Sound On Sound Music Festival in Connecticut.

Brightside World Tour will be a "climate positive" return to the stage for The Lumineers, who are working with the environmental non-profit REVERB.org to reduce the tour's environmental footprint.
