Man Hit In The Face, Robbed Of $340 In Rego Park Hotel: NYPD
The incident unfolded in the Wyndham Gardens Hotel on the border of Elmhurst and Rego Park, according to the police.

REGO PARK, QUEENS — A man went to a Queens hotel to meet an online acquaintance in real life — but was met instead by two strangers who hit him in the face and robbed him of $340, according to police and a news report.
The ambush played out about 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 29 inside the Wyndham Gardens Hotel on the border of Elmhurst and Rego Park, police said.
The man was bruised in the attack but refused medical attention, according to police.

A week later, the NYPD released surveillance images of the women they are trying to identify and question about the robbery.
