Man Robs Over $3K From Bodegas In Rego Park, Middle Village: NYPD

The man threatened three bodega clerks with a knife last week before taking the money and lottery tickets, police said.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A man robbed more than $3,000 from three bodegas in Queens last week, police said.

The robber threatened a clerk at a bodega on Queens Boulevard, near Eliot Avenue, using a knife before he took $600 on May 15 just after 9 p.m., the NYPD said.

The man targeted another bodega two days later, threatening the 28-year-old employee with a knife, and robbed $1,500 and lottery tickets at 63-18 Woodhaven Blvd. about 8:30 p.m., cops said.

The robber threatened another bodega clerk with a knife in Middle Village on May 18 around 10:30 a.m. before taking $1,000 and lottery tickets, authorities said.

Police released images of the robber Thursday, and he is described as about 30 to 40 years old, according to the NYPD. He was last seen wearing a black leather baseball cap, cops said.
