FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A massive fire broke out on the roof of a Forest Hills apartment building early Friday and left one firefighter seriously hurt, according to the FDNY.

The fire started about 5:30 a.m. at the top of a six-story building on 67th Road near Queens Boulevard, a Fire Department spokesperson said.

More than 100 firefighters rushed to the scene, the spokesperson said; one firefighter suffered serious injuries and had to be rushed to the hospital.
