Pedestrian Critically Hurt In Queens Boulevard Hit-And-Run: NYPD
A pedestrian is in critical condition after a driver struck her as she crossed Queens Boulevard, then raced off, police said.
KEW GARDENS, QUEENS — A pedestrian is in critical condition after a driver struck her as she crossed Queens Boulevard Monday morning, then raced off, according to the police.
The 59-year-old woman was crossing the street near 80th Road about 8:40 a.m. when a driver in a beige Toyota Camry crashed into her and continued heading north on Queens Boulevard without stopping, an NYPD spokesperson said.
First responders rushed the woman to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she's in critical condition, according to police and the FDNY.
