Person Hit By Train In Rego Park, Prompting Delays Across Queens: MTA
Trains are stopped in stations across Queens while emergency teams respond to a person on the tracks in Rego Park, the MTA said.
QUEENS, NY — A person was fatally hit by a train in Rego Park Monday afternoon, prompting delays across Queens, officials announced.
Emergency teams rushed to the 63rd Drive-Rego Park to respond to a person pinned under a train about 1:45 p.m., an NYPD spokesperson said.
As of a half hour later, police could not say how the straphanger got onto the tracks or whether they were dead or alive. The NYPD is still investigating and responding to the incident, the spokesperson said.

As of about 2:30 p.m., E, F, M and R trains are stopped in stations across Queens while emergency teams continue to respond to the incident, according to the MTA.
