Fung was struck by an 80-year-old woman driving a 2015 Toyota Camry traveling west on Fleet Street, according to an NYPD Highway District investigation. Fung had been biking North on Alderton Street when he struck the driver's side rear door of the Toyota and fell to the ground, police said. The investigation found the women had stopped for the Stop sign at Alderton Street, but struck Fung as they both continued into the intersection at the same time.
Police said no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
