FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — An NYPD officer was arrested in Rego Park after he strangled a person Wednesday, police said.
Charles Stanley, 26, was arrested about 8:14 p.m. after a domestic dispute led to a person being strangled, the NYPD said.
The arrest was made on Queens Boulevard, authorities said.

Police did not confirm the identity of the person who was strangled.
Stanely, who became an officer in 2019, does not have a prior disciplinary record, according to his NYPD profile.
