Rock The Bells Festival In Forest Hills Announces Lineup For August

Queen Latifah, Ludacris, and De La Soul are just some of the artists coming to Forest Hills to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Queen Latifah, Ludacris, and De La Soul are just some of the artists coming to Forest Hills to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop.

Rock The Bells Festival announced its lineup for the event on Aug. 5, 2023, at Forest Hills Stadium, bringing Method Man & Redman, Swizz Beatz, Salt-n-Pepa, Big Daddy Kane, The God MC Rakim, Slick Rick, Fabolous, and Boot Camp Clik.

The festival, which sold out last year, celebrates hip hop's 50th anniversary by paying homage to some of the genre's icons.

"The stage is set for the overdue acknowledgment and celebration of our culture and the fans who live and breathe it!," said James Cuthbert, President of Rock The Bells. "This lineup represents icons and artists from various decades, cities, and styles, ensuring fans have the best Hip-Hop experience possible."

The popular Forest Hills venue will host another musical festival, this one highlighting Asian performers in Head in the Clouds by the record label 88rising in May.
