Senior Punched In Head At Forest Hills Train Station, Police Say
The older woman was punched in the head while trying to leave the station, said police, who've been looking for the assailant for months.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A senior subway rider was punched in the head in a Forest Hills train station, police said.
The unprovoked attack happened about 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 2 in the Forest Hills-71 Avenue train station, according to the NYPD.
As the 68-year-old woman exited the train and headed towards the stairs to leave the station, a person punched her in the back of the head, the NYPD said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, police said.
The assailant, meanwhile, ran away and hasn't been seen since, said police, who were still looking for the person as of this week — over two months after the unprovoked attack.

Police asked that anyone with information about the attack call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). All calls are confidential, according to the NYPD. People can also submit tips online or on Twitter.
