Third Term Buyers' Remorse for Bloomberg?

Are you satisfied or dissatisfied with the mayor's job performance so far during his third term?

After Mayor Michael Bloomberg convinced the City Council to approve a temporary change in term limits allowing him to run (and win) a third term in office, are New Yorkers now having buyer's remorse?

According to a recent New York Times/ABC news survey, the answer is "yes."

Nearly three-quarters of New Yorkers said the Mayor Bloomberg should not have been allowed to run for a third term, according to the latest report.

Interestingly, however, only 39 percent of those polled said they disapproved of his job performance while 48 percent said they approved. And the proportion of residents who would prefer to keep living in the city (rather than move away) is the highest since Mr. Bloomberg took office, the poll found.

In fact, one-fourth of those polled said that if he were to run for a fourth term, they would vote for him again.
