Thursday: Knitting at the Y, Yoga at the Community House

The Central Queens Y is hosting its Knit 1 Purl 2 class today from noon to 2 p.m.

Attendees should bring yarn, needles and crochet hooks. The event, which is $3 for nonmembers, will include cookies and coffee. The Y is located at 67-09 108th St. in Forest Hills

The Community House is offering a yoga class today from 7:15 p.m. to 8:30.

But to take part in the class, you must sign up to be a member. The nonprofit recreational center is located at 15 Borage Place in Forest Hills.
