Tuesday: Park Events Include an Art Exhibit, Adventure Course

Queens Botanical Garden is hosting a plant-inspired art exhibition, while Alley Pond Park is offering a staycation.

The Queens Botanical Garden's "Invasive Pigments" exhibit is open today from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The display is a series of watercolor-like paintings that explore the migration and proliferation of weeds in tandem with human movement.

The garden is located at 43-50 Main St.

And Alley Pond Adventure Course is hosting a staycation from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

The event is an outdoor adventure that is aimed at fostering trust, problem solving and team building among attendees, who must be at least 8 years of age.
