Tuesday: Park Events Include an Exhibit and a Fitness Walk
Today's events are both being held by the city's Parks Department.
There will be a free fitness walk along Joe Michael's Mile in northeast Queens at 9 a.m. today.
The walk will begin at Crocheron Park. For more information, call 718-352-4793, ext. 301.
And Queens residents will be able to drop by the Queens Botanical Garden, located at 43-50 Main St., to view "Invasive Pigments," an exhibit of watercolor-like paintings that explore the proliferation of weeds and other invasive species in tandem with human movement.
The display is open each day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
