Wednesday: Story Time at Barnes & Noble, Rosh Hashanah Candle Lighting
And the Central Queens Y will close for three days starting this afternoon.
Forest Hills' Barnes & Noble will offer its weekly children's story time program this morning.
The event, which begins at 10:30 a.m., includes the reading of a story and other related activities. The book store is located at 70-00 Austin St.
The Forest Hills Jewish Center, located at 106-06 Queens Blvd., will hold a Rosh Hashanah candle lighting this evening at 7:06 p.m.
And the Central Queens Y, located at 67-09 108th St., will close at 3 p.m. today for Rosh Hashanah and will not reopen until Sept. 8 at 8 a.m.
