2 Teens Robbed At Gunpoint In Clinton Hill Playground, Police Say

The two 13-year-old boys had their cellphones and backpacks stolen at Pratt Playground, police said.

CLINTON HILL, NY — Two teenage boys had their cellphones and backpacks robbed by gunpoint while inside a Willoughby Street playground last month, police said.

The 13-year-olds were inside Pratt Playground, at the corner of Willoughby Street and Emerson Place, on Dec. 21 when two teens came up to them at about 2:30 p.m., the NYPD said.

One of the suspects asked the victims for the time when the other took out a silver and black gun and demanded their property, police said.

The suspects swiped their cellphones and book bags then fled the park. There were no injuries reported during the robbery, police said.

Both suspects were described as between 15 to 17-years-old by police. The first was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black coat, dark colored pants and white sneakers. The second was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, black coat, green sweatpants and black sneakers with white laces.
