BROOKLYN, NY — A woman was shoved to the ground and robbed while walking down a Clinton Hill street late Thursday evening, according to police, who asked for help finding the suspect.

The 67-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of Classon Avenue and Clifton Place around 8 p.m. on Thursday, when the suspect approached from behind and pushed her to the ground, police said.

He then grabbed the woman's cellphone and fled on foot, police said.

The woman was treated at the scene but reportedly had no injuries, according to police.

The cellphone thief was described as a man with a medium complexion, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and wearing a maroon tracksuit.

Police on Monday released surveillance images showing the suspect, and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
