Community Forum On Atlantic Yards Traffic Changes Set For June 14

Fort Greene and Clinton Hill residents will have an opportunity to sound off on planned traffic flow changes through the Atlantic Yards project.

A community forum sponsored by Community Boards 2, 6 and 8 will be held on Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Borough Hall.

A presentation will be given detailing the planned traffic changes. The public will have an opportunity to ask questions. 

The Atlantic Yards Traffic Mitigation Plan will turn Fourth Avenue between Atlantic and Flatbush avenues into a one way thoroughfare going southbound. The proposal also calls for Pacific Street to reverse direction from east to westbound only.

The changes are set to take effect on or around July 15.
