Free WiFi To Make Debut At Fort Greene Park This Summer

Mayor Michael Bloomberg joined AT&T chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson this afternoon to announce an initiative to provide free WiFi service at 26 locations across the five boroughs — including Fort Greene Park.

The service was rolled out Thursday in Battery Park in Lower Manhattan, with other city greenspaces to follow later on this summer.

In addition to Fort Greene Park, the service will also be available in Prospect, Brooklyn Bridge and McCarren parks.
