According to graffiti appearing recently atop at Lexington and Classon avenues, a Block Party—with "bands, bands, bands"—will be taking place on Aug. 11.

Is it a get-together sponsored by CLEXY Block Association?

Or is it just a graphical mirage for hopeful—and possibly overheated—block party-loving journalists?

In any case, it wouldn't be the first major outdoor music event for this sliver of Clinton Hill.

In 2004, a block party at the recently foreclosed Broken Angel house featuring Jill Scott, The Roots and Kanye West was so awesome that comedian Dave Chappelle and director Michel Gondry made a movie about it.
