Blood Drive at 88th Precinct Tuesday

Busmobile will be accepting walk-in donors until 7 p.m.

New York Blood Center is holding a Blood Drive at the stationhouse at Classon and Dekalb avenues on Tuesday.

Walk-in donors will be accepted until 7 p.m.

According to the NYBC, over 2,000 pints of blood are needed everyday to meet the need of patients in New York and New Jersey hospitals.

Yet only 2 percent of New Yorkers donate blood. That's compared to 5 percent nationwide.
