Brooklyn protesters’ first stop, around noon, was the Barclays Center in Fort Greene, where they held a “die-in” on the front courtyard. (See photos below.)

Next they marched to Fulton Mall, Brooklyn Borough Hall and the federal courthouse in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, according to participants on Twitter.

Their signs are printed with slogans like “Shut it down for Michael Brown” and “From Ferguson to NYC, end racist police terror.”

Reuters reporter Sebastien Malo, who’s embedded in the crowd, says he’s witnessed two arrests.

The NYPD could not confirm any arrests as of 2:10 p.m.

However, Keegan Stephan, a well-known NYC activist and organizer, says he has also witnessed police arrest at least one protester “for not being on the sidewalk.”
