Elected Officials To Hold Outreach Session on Property Taxes

Event scheduled at Brooklyn Borough Hall next week.

With the recently publication of the property tax rolls for Fiscal Year 2013, local elected officials announced an scheduled for Feb. 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brooklyn Borough Hall.

The event is sponsored by the city Department of Finance and the NYC Tax Commission, representatives of which will be available to answer questions—particularly by home and business owners who have seen a change in the way their properties have been valued.

The Outreach Session is being held in conjunction with the offices of Council members Letitia James, D-Fort Greene, Brad Lander, D-Park Slope, and Jumaane Williams, D-Flatbush, among others.
