FDNY EMT Arrested For Hitting Woman With Tablet, Officials Say
Colette Palmer was charged with assault after she hit a woman inside Brooklyn Hospital Center with a tablet, prosecutors said.

FORT GREENE, NY — An EMT worker for the FDNY was arrested Thursday after she hit a woman with a tablet inside a Fort Greene hospital, officials said.
Colette Palmer, 52, was inside the Brooklyn Hospital Center, at 121 DeKalb Ave., on March 4 when she hit the woman in the arm with the computers, prosecutors said.
She was arrested on Thursday and charged with assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, attempted assault and harassment at her arraignments, authorities said.

Palmer worked as an EMT for the FDNY for 11 years and could be suspended depending on the results of the case, fire officials said.
