Fort Greene-Clinton Hill, Here Are 7 Upcoming Meetings You Don't Want to Miss
Get updates on the Bedford Union Armory, and learn about affordable housing, City Council funding, knowing your tenant rights, and more.

FORT GREENE-CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — City Council Member Laurie Cumbo (who oversees Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, and Bed-Stuy) has released the schedule for the next few months of several government-led meetings that could potentially be useful to residents.
The meetings include learning about the area median income (AMI) requirements and affordable housing, knowing your rights as a tenant, and two status updates on the Bedford Union Armory, the city-owned former military building that's poised to undergo development. At the beginning of December, dozens of Crown Heights residents and activists protested the plan for the Armory, which is set to become a mixed-use space with offices, a large community recreational center, and a mix of affordable housing and market-rate condos, Gothamist reported.
