Fort Greene Man Shot Wife In The Hip, Police Say
Christopher McEaddy, 31, was charged with attempted murder after he shot his wife three times inside a South Oxford Place home, police said.

FORT GREENE, NY — A man shot his wife in the hip inside a Fort Greene home on Monday night, which was the precinct's first shooting of the year, police said.
Christopher McEaddy, 31, got into a fight with his 29-year-old wife inside a South Oxford Place home, near Greene Avenue, when he shot her at about 7:02 p.m., a spokesman for the NYPD said.

She was hit three times in the hip and taken to Brooklyn Hospital in stable condition, police said.

McEaddy, who has a rap sheet including a 2016 drug arrest, was arrested and officers recovered two guns from him, the NYPD said.
He was charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon.
