Fort Greene Olympian Swimmer Makes Waves at 2013 CeraVe Invitational
Lia Neal won three races and placed in many others during at the large swim meet.

She's done it again! After bringing home a Bronze Medal from the 2012 Olympic Games as part of the 4 x 100 Women's Meter Freestyle Relay team, Lia Neal has placed in another high-pressure event.
The 17-year-old Fort Greene native won three races during the this year's CeraVe Invitational, reported her father, Rome Neal.

Neal won the 100 meter butterfly, 100 meter freestyle and 50 meter freestyle, her father said.
She also placed second in the 400 meter B- Final and came in first place in the 200 meter breaststroke C- Final, helping her Aqua teammates place third in the 400 Freestyle meter relay.

Hosted by the Berkely Aquatic Club and Rutgers University, this year's CeraVe Invitational is the 21st annual winter long course swim meet held at the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center in New Jersey.
