Agent Albert Safdie has sold 15 South Elliott Place which sets the record for the highest recorded townhouse sale on the block this decade

The property, originally listed for $4.65M, recently sold for $4.5M, the highest recorded townhouse sale on the block this decade.

This all-cash deal was in contract within just a few weeks. Joseph Ryan of Compass represented the buyer.

The 3100-square-foot brownstone, built in 1882, spans four floors. It includes an unfinished basement; 12-foot ceilings; working wood-burning fireplace and a private garden.

Albert Safdie is the father of the famed filmmakers, the Safdie Brothers, who made Uncut Gems. He is also the cousin of Moshe Safdie, a very famous and well-regarded worldwide architect.
