Man Attacked By Group Of Would-Be Robbers In Clinton Hill, Police Say
The group surrounded the young man and started to punch and kick him while trying to steal items from his pants pockets, police said.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — A young man was attacked by a group trying to rob him on a street corner near Clinton Hill this week, police said.
The 26-year-old was standing on the corner of Classon Avenue and Fulton Street — near Bushwick Taco Company and the Greene Hill Food Co-op — about 8 p.m. Tuesday when a group of people surrounded him, according to the NYPD.
The group started to attack the young man, punching and kicking him repeatedly while trying to steal items from his pants pockets, police said.

The robbery, though, was unsuccessful, and the assailants ran off in separate directions empty handed, according to the NYPD.
Police said the victim was hurt, but got medical attention on his own.

The NYPD released photos of some suspects on June 29 and asked anyone with information contact the police department.
