No Injuries After Fire Breaks Out on Park Avenue

Blaze at bread factory near Emerson Place broke out Sunday afternoon.

About 60 firefighters swiftly put out a blaze in a bread factory on Park Place Sunday afternoon.

The fire broke out in a crumb-making oven in the mezzanine of the building, just before 3:08 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

There were no injuries from the blaze  at Gourmet Toast Corporation, at 345 Park Avenue at Emerson Place, which was put under control at 3:24 p.m., the spokesman said.
