CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — A teenager was stabbed in broad daylight last Friday when a fight broke out near a Clinton Hill funeral, according to police and a report.

The verbal dispute turned violent shortly before 10 a.m., when an 18-year-old was stabbed in the chest and arm by an as-yet unknown person near Washington Avenue and Fulton Street, the NYPD said.

First responders took the teen to a nearby hospital in stable condition, according to police.

The stabbing happened while a funeral was underway around the corner at Brown Memorial Baptist Church, The New York Post reported.

Police told the outlet that the attacker might have been a funeral attendee who didn't want the teenager at the ceremony.

As of Monday, law enforcement officials are still investigating the stabbing, and no arrests have been made, police said.
