Travel Advisory: A,C,F Trains Bypassing Jay St. Due to Suspicious Package Report [UPDATE]

Update, 11:38 a.m.: Police gave the all-clear after a suspicious package left at Jay St.-MetroTech station was determined not to be a threat.

All trains are now stopping at the station, resuming normal service as of 11:15 a.m., according to NYPD.

Police said the suspicious package was a bag left at the station.

Service at a portion of Jay St.-Borough Hall subway station [Correction: the station is Jay St.-MetroTech] was halted Thursday as police and fire officials investigated a suspicious package, according to the New York Fire Department.

The FDNY said that several people called 911 at around 10:20 a.m. to report the presence of the suspicious package in the station near Jay and Willoughby streets.

Trains along the A, C and F lines are currently bypassing the station, according to the Metropolitan Transit Authority.
