Loaded Gun Recovered From Speeding Vehicle In Nassau: Police
A powdery substance believed to be crack cocaine was also recovered, police said.

ROOSEVELT, NY — Three men were stopped by police early Sunday in Roosevelt, police said.
Officers made the 1:55 a.m. traffic stop on Nassau Road for a speeding Dodge Durango, police said.
An investigation revealed an illegal loaded firearm, metal knuckles and a white powdery substance, believed to be crack cocaine, were recovered.

All three occupants of the vehicle were arrested without incident.
Edward Tyler Johnson, 30, of Deer Park faces charges that include two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He also has an open bench warrant out of Suffolk County, police said.

Paul Scott, 34, of Wyandanch; and Andre Yates, 36, of Deer Park, are charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
All three men were expected to be arraigned on Monday.
