Police Officer, Chef/Owner Expands With 2nd BBQ Restaurant In Freeport
Bobby Ford, who runs Bobby Q's, has also been in law enforcement for more than a decade.
FREEPORT, NY — A Freeport restaurant is adding a second location in the village. Bobby's Q's, a popular barbeque joint on North Main Street, will bring the new menu to Sunrise Highway.
What sets this restaurant apart is the owner and lead chef, Bobby Ford, who is also a Freeport police officer and former detective in the NYPD.
The new eatery, called "Bobby Q's Jus Like Mama," is located at 365 Sunrise Highway.
