The 70-unit senior housing complex at 106 Broadway will be built on .69 acres. Some of the apartments will be targeted toward the frail elderly. It is also expected to generate 30 construction jobs and two permanent jobs.
"The village and the Town are in dire need of quality rental housing, especially for
seniors, and those in need of affordable rentals," IDA Chief Executive Frederick Parola said. "These housing shortages are forcing residents to move away from Long Island."
