2 People Slashed In Westbury From Online Purchase Fight: Police
A 17-year-old was charged with assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

WESTBURY, NY — Three people got into a verbal argument that escalated into violence in Westbury on Sunday night, police said.
Officers responded for a disturbance in the vicinity of Jefferson Street and Cambridge Avenue.
Two male victims (ages 17 and 21) got into an argument with a 17-year-old boy over a Facebook Marketplace purchase, police said.

The 17-year-old slashed both victims in their hands, police said. The victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The male, 17, was placed under arrest without incident and was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

He was scheduled to be arraigned as a youth offender at First District Court.
