60-Foot Christmas Tree Lighting, Part Of Holiday 'Season Of Sparkle'

It takes place on Monday night at the Nassau Coliseum.

UNIONDALE, NY — Lights of the season are set to decorate Nassau Coliseum. The holiday event takes place on Monday evening with the Uniondale High School Show Choir.

A Toys for Tots drive is part of the festivities organized by Sands New York.

"Season of Sparkle" features the lighting of a 60-foot Christmas tree, a Chanukah menorah and a Kwanzaa Kinara.

The first 2,500 attendees will receive a free food voucher to use at any of the 10 food trucks.

Holiday mini-golf is also expected to be part of the holiday frivolity, along with performances from America's Got Talent contestant Sal Valentinetti and American Idol Christian Guardino.
