7 Amazing Holiday Displays: See What Neighbors Recommend In Nassau

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — 'Tis the season for spectacular holiday lights across Long Island. We received several recommendations, since Patch put out a call for the best holiday light shows at individual homes and neighborhoods.

Here's what your neighbors say are the most dazzling displays to check out.

44 Ohio Avenue, Massapequa — This residence is sure to bring a smile to youngsters with large snowmen surrounding the lights. You'll also find the Grinch, tall candy canes, and of course Santa Claus. The front lawn also features a fully decorated manger scene.

182A East Shore Drive, Massapequa — A recommendation to see this house, an interactive display with fundraising going toward St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

43 South Lewis Place, Rockville Centre — Before we get to the gleaming house, this homeowner has a festive lawn display of reindeer and Santa's sled. The home is decorated in seasonal lights, wrapped as a candy cane on the sides. The lights extend to the roof, giving neighbors and visitors a pleasing view.

75 Hofstra Dr., Plainview — If you want a classy, no-frills display, check out this home. White lights beautifully outline the home and fill the trees. A "Merry Christmas" greeting surrounds the lights and the home!

4 Lincoln St., Garden City — This home is dressed in green lights, making the house appear to be a giant Christmas tree!

6 Presidential Drive, Plainview — Check out this display with reindeer, snowmen and presents filling up the lawn and "Joy" lit up welcoming holidaygoers.

Schoolhouse Road, Levittown — A block party is taking place on Dec. 9 from 5-8 p.m. Along with seeing some of the holiday displays, you can take a photo with Santa.
