An Adults-Only Puppet Show at LICM
An "evening of immature entertainment for mature audiences" kicks off at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

An eight-week series of workshops, performances and special events kicked off Monday as Puppets Take Long Island makes several stops at area venues like the Long Island Children's Museum (LICM).
The festival will showcase puppetry in all its forms—from giant puppets and marionettes to rod and shadow puppets, according to the LICM website, and is even offering an "evening of immature entertainment for mature audiences" when MC Lolly Lardpop and Leslie Carrera-Rudolph host "Puppets After Dark" Wednesday between 8-10 p.m.
Performers scheduled for the evening include Carole D’Agostino, Sarah Frechette, Steve Widerman, Spencer Lott, Eric Wright, Katrina Denney and Honey Goodenough.
Tickets for “Puppets After Dark: Immature Entertainment for Mature Audiences” are available online for ages 18 and up. The fee is $20 per person ($18 LICM members).
The two-month long festival offers a rotating schedule of touring puppeteers and troupes from across the U.S. and Europe. Click here for a full schedule of events in the area.
