Bomb Threat Delays Start At Uniondale School: Police

An anonymous person claimed to have placed bombs around Kellenberg Memorial High School, police said.

UNIONDALE, NY — There was a bomb threat at Kellenberg Memorial High School on Tuesday morning, police said.

At 7:12 a.m., an anonymous message was sent through the 988 Lifeline, a suicide and crisis hotline, police said. The person claimed that bombs had been placed around the Uniondale school on Glenn Curtiss Boulevard, authorities said.

Students and faculty were kept outside before the start of the school day as a search was conducted, police said.
