Brooklyn Woman Arrested After Attempting to Cash Forged Check
Kijah Brown, 20, fled TD Bank when teller refused to honor $495 check, police said.
Police arrested a Brooklyn woman Oct. 30 after she attempted to cash a forged check at TD Bank, Garden City police said.
Kijah Brown, 20, fled the Franklin Avenue bank after the teller refused to honor the $495 check. The incident occurred on Sept. 30, police said.
Brown was charged with possession of a forged instrument and attempted larceny.
