Celebrate Sondheim with Adelphi's Best of Broadway

The special revue will honor the late, great composer at Adelphi University this month.

GARDEN CITY, NY — Adelphi's students will pay tribute to the late, great Braodway composer Stephen Sondheim at the Adelphi's Best of Broadway revue. The show will take place at Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Feb. 19 and 20.

The musical revue will include selections from Sondheim's greatest shows, including "West Side Story," "Sunday in the Park with George," "Company" and more.

The show will begin at 8 p.m. on Feb. 19 and 4 p.m. on Febr. 20 on the Westermann Stage at Adelphi's PAC Concert Hall. The Feb. 20 show will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.

Tickets are $25, with discounts available to seniors, students, alumni and employees. Livestream access is $5. For more information, call the Lucia and Steven N. Fischer Box Office at 516-877-4000 or email boxoffice@adelphi.edu. The box office is open Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. and is also open two hours before most scheduled performances. Ticket sales, livestreaming details, and additional information are available online.

All audience members age 5 and over are required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. Anyone under 5 or who is not fully vaccinated must show proof from a lab or clinic of a negative test taken within 72 hours of the performance. At home tests are not permitted. Anyone under 3 does not need to show proof of a test. All guests, regardless of age or vaccination status, will be required to wear masks while inside the Adelphi PAC.
