Congresswoman Laura Gillen (NY-04), visited The Bristal Assisted Living at Garden City. She toured the community and met with The Bristal residents. She discussed Veterans' benefits, her role in the government, how policy changes work, and how the two parties can work together.
Gillen who previously served as Hempstead Town Supervisor was elected to Congress in November. She serves on The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Subcommittee on Highways and Transit, Subcommittee on Aviation, and Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, and the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee.
