Cops: Hempstead Teen Burglarized His Neighbor
The 17-year-old snuck into a bathroom window and stole a video game console, expensive sneakers, and cash, police said.

A teenager faces charges after sneaking through a bathroom window and stealing from a Hempstead home Monday afternoon, according to Nassau County Police.
The 41-year-old victim called the police after discovering cash, Air Jordan sneakers, and a Wii U game console had been stolen from her son’s bedroom, officials said.
Investigators said the thief climbed through a bathroom window in the rear of the Long Beach Road home.

A neighbor gave a description to Hempstead Police, who apprehended Taykim Ross, 17, of Hempstead, cops said. Ross lived down the street from the home he burglarized, police said.
Ross was charged with second-degree burglary and was arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
