Fatal Hempstead Gun Shot Victim Identified: Police
The shooting took place early Saturday, police said.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — A man, who was killed by gunfire over the weekend in Hempstead, has been identified.
Maurice Sinclair Thomas, 39, of Hempstead, was fatally shot early Saturday in a vehicle, police said. Thomas was pronounced dead at an area hospital, police said.
It happened just after 1 a.m. Saturday on Yale Street, authorities said.
