BOE Work Session: On Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 8:15 p.m., Garden City Public Schools Board of Education will hold a work session at the Administration Building, 56 Cathedral Avenue. An update of the district’s science research program is scheduled.
POA Meetings: The Eastern Property Owners' Association (EPOA) will meet in the village hall boardroom beginning at 7:30 p.m. The meeting, which is open to all Garden City residents, will feature an executive from Forest City Ratner, the development group selected to renovate the Nassau Coliseum and Plaza. The Central Property Owners' Association (CPOA) will meet Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Garden City Senior Center on Golf Club Lane. The Property Owners' Association of Garden City Estates (Estates POA) will meet Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m. at Stratford School.
